Well the countdown is officially over. I am FOR-TY! I feel the same. The bones haven't deteriorated. The hair is still mostly black. I haven't turned into a pumpkin either. This little 10 day journey has been a lot of fun and has allowed me to really reflect and appreciate what is really important. My outfit!
I couldn't even get too cute because the weather is awful. This is the first time in a long time that I remember May 17th being so crappy. I usually get pretty good weather on the anniversary of my birth. Though I remember one May 17th where it snowed in Albany. I remember b/c it was graduation weekend on UAlbany's campus. But I see that Mother Nature has other plans on May 17, 2011.
I think you will get a kick out of the next series of photos. I found photos of a few childhood bdays and the sweet 16. Very cute and very pink party in the hood. Sounds like a bad movie but it's true. LOL. Enjoy your day everyone and thanks for reading. I'll see how else I can keep you entertained with my blog as the year progresses. Enjoy the show. (It has music, so if you are at work turn off the volume. Oh and I couldn't figure out how to stop the loop or the music.)
